馬鞍山礦場礦村承載著50年代本港一段獨一無二的採礦歷史，信義會作為最早在區內服務的機構之一，與這段歷史的關係密不可分。本會社會服務部於2012年展開為超過60年歷史的馬鞍山村信義會恩光堂進行活化工程，並命名為基督教香港信義會恩青營(鞍山探索館)，並於2015年3月初正式提供服務，以新穎的方式讓公眾人士探索及認識馬鞍山「工業遺產」、「礦村遺產」、「宗教遺產」及「自然價值」。 Ma On Shan Iron Mine and Mine village carried Hong Kong a unique and unreplaceable mining history in 1950s. Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong(ELCHK) was one of the earliest service units in that area, was inseparable with this history. In 2012, Evangelical Lutheran Church Social Service has started revitalizing over 60 years history’s Ma On Shan Village Lutheran Yan Kwong Church, thus renamed as ELCHK, Grace Youth Camp and started providing services in March 2015. Grace Youth Camp aims to explore Ma On Shan’s industrial, mine village, religious heritage and natural value through explorative experiences.

現時信義會恩青營、天主教聖若瑟堂及與礦場相關的建築遺址已經完成歷史建築評級工作。其中信義會恩青營建築群(包括昔日信義學校、恩光堂、幼稚園、救濟品儲存倉及教師宿舍)已獲評定為三級歷史建築。另本會亦正積極籌備第二期活化工程及籌集工程所需資金，為恩青營內其餘兩座建築物進行活化翻新工程，以提供更多活動空間及建立永久展覽場地以展示馬鞍山這一段獨一無二的採礦業歷史及當中的人文風物故事。 Now, Lutheran Grace Youth Camp, St. Joseph’s Church and Iron Mine related building complex were graded as historical buildings. Lutheran Grace Youth Camp building complex (including past Lutheran Primary School, Lutheran Yan Kwong Church, Kindergarten, Relief Store and Teachers’ quarters) were Grade III buildings. Also, we are actively raising funds for revitalization stage 2 to revitalize the remaining two buildings in order to provide more space and build a permanent exhibition venue for the presentation of the unique history and story of Ma On Shan.
